The installation of a complete ventilated facade system requires a detailed study of the design project in order to plan how it will be done:
- Detecting attachment points
- Precise knowledge of the materials that make up the interior facades to guarantee compatibility and resistence for supporting the anchors and loads that they will transmit.
- The engineering department is in charge of regulating and guaranteeing the geometric distribution of the facade. The plans serve as a basis for the laying out, an operation that should be done with extreme care as it is what determines the successful carrying out of the work and a perfect finish.
- Study of the ends and preparation of the pieces.
Complete engineering in tendered works
The engineering includes:
- Complete design of all facades of the work; elevations with modulations, elevations with bracket distribution; description of solution and critical points, elevations with starting point and laid horizontally and vertically.
- List of the necessary material for the work, ceramic pieces, brackets, nuts and bolts, and profiling.
- Organising the assembly planning with the construction company, detecting possible problems, material requirements and incidents that have occurred.
Site management during the work
Greco Gres provides all the human resources necessary to correctly carry out the work:
- The Engineering Department deals directly with the architects and/or Site Managers during the study and modulation phase.
- A site manager supervises the works ensuring the correct installation of the system.
- A team lead is in charge of organising the work in order to optimise the mounting times.

Complete modulation of the facade
Our Engineering Department provides a detailed study of the measurements of panels, modulations and ends, carrying out cuts both lengthways and widthways on the panels to complete the dividing of the building´s facades.
