COMMITMENT |GRECO GRES
At Grupo Greco Gres we have spent several years transforming our habits and production processes to minimize the impact of our activity on the planet.
We have a firm commitment, not only with the minimum emission of CO2 into the atmosphere, but with a growing contribution to sustainability and circular economy with a constant improvement of our materials and processes and through the use of renewable energies.
In addition, we feel responsible beyond our manufacturing processes, investing in research and development and investing in product innovation so that our products support and continue our mission to build a more sustainable world.

DEVELOPMENT ANDINNOVATION
We invest in research and development and are committed to innovation in our processes and products.

ECOLOGICAL RAW MATERIALS
Our extruded porcelain tiles are made only with water and 100% natural, pure, white clays without additives.

CIRCULAR ECONOMY
We recycle part of the material in the process and make efficient use of water through closed-loop reuse.

RENEWABLEENERGIES
Our photovoltaic plant allows us to make annual savings of up to 40% in electricity.

EFFICIENTPRODUCTS
Our ventilated facade contributes to energy savings of up to 35% thanks to the thermal bridge break.

AUDITS ANDCERTIFICATIONS
We comply with annual audits and hold national and international certifications.

MINIMUM EMISSIONS |GRECO GRES
Thanks to the optimization of energy consumption and the change of habits in production processes, we have been able to reduce our carbon footprint and, therefore, the impact of our activity on the environment.
We comply with annual audits that measure and control our gas and CO2 emissions into the atmosphere and certify that our waste does not cause global impacts on the planet or on people’s health.
RENEWABLE ENERGIES |GRECO GRES
Grupo Greco Gres continues to rely on research and development of renewable energy sources and will continue to invest its efforts in evolving and transforming its energy supply for efficient and sustainable manufacturing.
PHOTOVOLTAIC PLANT |GRECO GRES
Our production line is supplied with electricity from our photovoltaic plant of more than 30.000 m2 and 5.500 double panels.
A state-of-the-art solar panel installation that has been designed exclusively for self-consumption during our manufacturing processes and that allows us to save up to 40% in electricity.

WATER REUSE |GRECO GRES
Aware of the need not to waste such a valuable and scarce resource as water, Greco Gres Group decided a few years ago to carry out the rectification of the pieces in a dry process.
Not only have we considerably reduced water consumption, but we also make efficient use of it thanks to its reuse in a closed circuit.
RECYCLING |GRECO GRES
It is our desire and commitment to reduce as much as possible the waste produced in our factory. Because our raw materials are 100% natural, pure, white, additive-free clays, and because all of our products are of the same quality and made from the same 100% porcelain and technical materials, we are able to recycle up to 11% of unfired material during the manufacturing process.
This material is fed back into the extruder for reuse in a continuous recycling process that is fully integrated into our production lines.

CERTIFICATIONS |GRECO GRES
We comply with annual audits and have the Environmental Product Declaration and national and international certifications.
LEED |CERTIFICATION
LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Certification is an internationally recognized certification system for sustainable buildings created by the U.S. Sustainable Building Council. The certification evaluates different parameters classified in 9 categories and allows obtaining a maximum of 110 LEED points.

ENVIRONMENTAL PRODUCT DECLARATION |GRECO GRES
Grupo Greco Gres is a member of the Spanish Association of Ceramic Tile Manufacturers (ASCER). ASCER has a Sectorial Environmental Product Declaration for ceramic tiles registered in the Global EPD program, managed by AENOR, which complies with ISO 14040-44, ISO 14025 and EN 15804:2012+A1:2013.
This Environmental Product Declaration has a “cradle to grave” scope; that is, it includes the stages of product (A1-A3), distribution (A4), installation (A5), use (B1-B7) and end of life (C1-C4) and is the highest certification after assessing the environmental impact throughout the product’s life cycle.

SUSTAINABLE PRODUCTS |GRECO GRES
Beyond our manufacturing processes, we are committed to innovation in our products so that they support and continue our mission to build a more sustainable world.
VENTIALTED FACADES |GRECO GRES
The main product of Grupo Greco Gres, the porcelain ventilated facade, allows sustainable construction and provides buildings with great energy efficiency.
The honeycomb pieces of our ventilated facade provide lightness, durability, and a great thermal and acoustic insulation that allow energy savings of up to 35% in heating and air conditioning.

THERMALBRIDGES
Thermal bridges in the facade are eliminated.

HEATRETENTION
Heat loss from the interior to the exterior is prevented.

ENERGYSAVINGS
Allows energy savings of up to 35% in heating and air conditioning.

THERMALMASS
Increase in thermal mass.

THERMALINERTIA
Increased thermal inertia with a consequent increase in energy savings.

UVRAYS
Protection against UV rays.
